Discover the beauty of Wales and England at your own pace

Embark Walking Holidays is a passionate provider of self guided walking holidays in Wales and England. We love to walk and know that you do too.

Our itineraries follow some of the most loved National trails in Wales and England.  Showcasing the diverse landscapes, rich history, and stunning natural beauty of the two countries.

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned long distance walker, we take the hassle out of the planning, taking care of the logistics and  luggage transfers.  Hand picking your accommodation so that you can get to enjoy the freedom of walking these iconic trails, at your own pace.

We love to walk ourselves and know how being out in 'the great outdoors' amongst nature can rejuvenate you. We want you to have a relaxing holiday, where you do the walking and we take care of the rest.

You get to choose your start date and we tailor the walking holiday around your needs.  Each holiday is hand written, providing you with details of where to find your accommodation, trip notes, additional maps and information on where to find your food for the day and evening.  Itineraries can be 'tweaked' to make them more bespoke, adding in additional days to explore the area or take part in activities.

We want to give you that personal service, so that you have the self guided walking holiday you're looking for.

'Had an absolutely superb walk, Jill - thank you for arranging. Howling wind, pelting with rain, bog underfoot, but just great walking days with my daughters. Will be in touch later in 2024 for next year’s version.' Neil,
