Cleveland Way 2025

'We're back safe and sound in the USA; recovering from some minor jet lag. Thanks for setting up our trip. We had a really good time.  The B&B's and Inns that you arranged were definitely a notch above.'

Jim & Dina from USA

Offa's Dyke Path and Cotswold Way 2025

'Jill's local knowledge & professional skillset made for a better walk experience, I could not have researched from overseas to come to the same accommodation, meal, and transport outcomes. Plus there was the insurance of having Jill only a phone call away..'

'I think many of the memories of the walk will end up being about the hosts and experiences rather than the vistas.'

Andrew & Mal from Australia

Pembrokeshire Coast Path 2025

'I wanted to get in touch with to say thank you so much. The trip you pulled together for me was everything I had hoped for. I had an absolutely wonderful and have recommended Embark to people I met on my travels as well as when I came home — may have already started looking at the other trips you specialise in!!

'Thank you for all your work on this. You made my first big solo trip a possibility and a wonderful experience.'

Inca from UK

Hadrian's Wall 2025

'Just a note to say how much Paul and I enjoyed our 4 days on Hadrian's Wall this week.

'Amazing views and sights on the Wall Path. Fairly tough on some sections and a few of the descents were a bit tricky, at least for us two, being in our mid 70's. Vindolanda was fascinating with a good tour and about 20 archaeologists hard at work. From Irthington, the Aviation Museum (about 1.5 miles away) is well worth a visit including a look inside the Vulcan V bomber.'

Phil & Paul from UK

Anglesey Coast Path 2025

'We returned yesterday from our three days walking and we loved every moment. You had organised everything beautifully, it all worked so smoothly, from luggage transfers to key box numbers, location of Waitrose even! '

'The walk itself was really beautiful, albeit we only did the last 55 miles, but lovely varied landscape from cliffs and beaches to woodland and meadowland. The map and book were very helpful, especially the map, but it was so very well waymarked that it was nigh impossible to go wrong. '

Lulu & Nicholas from UK

Ridgeway 2025

'I just wanted to send a note to say how much I enjoyed my walking holiday! My only regret of the whole experience was not to take a few more days to finish the Ridgeway, but at least I have something to look forward to! All of the accommodations you booked were excellent,.'

'would definitely suggest to everyone to go into the village of Ashbury for their lunch. I also really appreciated the guides and found it really helpful for planning my days.'

'Again thank you so much I’ll definitely be in touch for either the second half of the Ridgeway or another walk!'

Catherine from UK

Northumberland Coast and Castles
2025

'Just letting you know we we completed our walk and had a wonderful time, thanks in no small part to your excellent planning and responsiveness. We are looking at other walks you do for the future and will certainly recommend you.'

Rae & Bruce from Australia

Anglesey Coast Path 2025

'We are just heading back from Bangor this morning after a fabulous 5 days walking with a great weather window too!'

'Thank you for all the terrific organising as ever.'

Fiona & Stephen from UK

Cotswold Way 2025

'We got home last night after a wonderful six days of walking. Everything went smoothly and even the weather cooperated - we had very little rain. All of our accommodations were comfortable and we particularly enjoyed our last night at the Catherine Wheel and the walk through the valley to get there. Thank you for organising the trip and for the excellent information booklets.'

Louise and Lucinda from UK

Dales Way 2025

'We really enjoyed our little adventure completing the Dales Way - lovely countryside, fresh air and exercise, and we met some interesting people from all over the world doing the same walk.  Pretty much everything went according to plan and the accommodation was great.  Thank you for putting it all together for us.'

'The one thing you could not organise, of course, was the weather.  The first two days walking were sunny and warm but after that we paid for it - there was a lot of rain.'

Chris & Susan from UK

Cotswold Way 2025

'Later then I wanted, but we like to thank you for our unforgettable walk in the Cotswolds, and, of course, for your helpful assistance before and during our holiday. Many thanks for your kindness!!!'

Ivan & Ilse from Belgium

Glyndwrs Way 2025

'This hike was very challenging. I would suggest breaking up the long day (32.5km). We did a lot of training but day after day of hiking was tough. Taking rest days was a very good idea but if we had broken up the long day it would have made a big difference. When contacting Jill when were needed assistance she was very prompt and helpful. Embark was very professional and the documents provided were great'

Wilma & Judith from Canada

Cumbria Way 2025

'Navigating on the Cumbria Way was a bit dicey at times although we always eventually found our way. Walkers on this specific route should be encouraged not to rely solely on the Cicerone guidebook. Signage (which is useful to confirm one is on the right route) is very sparse, noticeably worse than national trails'

Dan & Claudia USA

Dales Way 2025

'Our holiday was really great and we had a wonderful time, and the scenery along the way was marvellous - thanks to your efforts in putting it all together.'

Chris & Jane from UK

Pembrokeshire Coast Path 2025

'My walking adventure was nothing short of amazing with great and not so great moments which is all to be expected when vacationing in any way, shape or form :) I cannot say enough about the Welsh hospitality, kindness, consideration and concern. From the Innkeepers to the taxi drivers, the train staff, hospitality workers, shopkeepers and the general public, the people were and are "other worldly". I tell my friends and family the society was like Canada 40 years ago. Sweet, sweet people.'

'Everything went off like clockwork Jill and my bag hop went without a glitch. Thank you for working to make this adventure seamless from your end.'

 Karen from Canada

Dales Way 2025

'Well, the weather wasn't perfect, but the arrangements were — as always!'

Dan & Claudia from USA

Coast to Coast 2025

'Really such a beautiful hike!! This was our fifth long distance hike in England and definitely our favorite. Jill has excellent attention to detail and all the logistics ran like clock work. C2C Packhorse was very organized as well. In hindsight I do wish we had bought a plastic sleeve for the physical maps. It was so windy and rainy up on the Fells that I struggled with my OS Map app on my phone. The touchscreen didn't like the cold and wet.'
