Are my Luggage transfers included in my holiday ?

Yes all of your luggage transfer will be included in your holiday- From your first accommodation, to your last accommodation.  One bag per person.  You will be given information in your walking booklet about the weight limit of your bag and provided with luggage labels.

Is breakfast included with my booking?

All rooms are booked as Bed and Breakfast.  Your breakfast will sometimes be a fully cooked breakfast or sometimes a continental style.  Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch is not included in the cost of your holiday.  We will give you information in your walking booklet about where to find food.  It really depends upon the terrain you will be walking during the day.  Sometimes there is no where to stop on route.  Some hosts provide a packed lunch service, payable to them direct. Sometimes there are places where you can purchase provisions for the day on route either from a shop or café.  Perhaps stopping during the day at a pub or restaurant.

Where do I find my evening meals?

Your evening meal is not included in the price of your holiday.  Again you will be provided with information in your walking booklet. Depending upon the location of your accommodation, some hosts will offer to cook an evening meal for you, if your accommodation is very rural or transport you to a nearby pub or restaurant.  You may be staying in a pub or Inn where you can eat in house or there may be somewhere in walking distance from your accommodation.

What do I need to carry in my day bag?

It is suggested that you carry a day bag each day but don't over pack- a heavy rucksack will make your day feel much longer. Remember to carry your packed lunch, enough water for the day, water proofs and sun cream, first aid kit, a spare pair of socks and any personal items you may need, including any medication.  We will transport the rest of your luggage for you between accommodations.

Can I change the dates or make amendments to my walking holiday after I have booked?

We will always try our best to assist you where possible, however there may be additional admin fees involved.  If changes are made up to 56 days or 8 weeks before the start of your walking holiday an additional administration charge of £50 per person will need to be paid.  Requests for changes made less than 56 days before the start of your holiday will be treated as a cancellation of your original booking.

What happens if I have to cancel my walking holiday?

It doesn't happen very often but if you have to cancel your holiday please inform us in writing. You can send it to us by mail, or email. The date from which we receive your cancellation is the date from which cancellation fees will be calculated. Please see our Terms and Conditions on Cancelations.
